The news...

Well, I put an ad in the paper for housekeeping. I hope it takes off. My hours were cut at my job and I'm not going to be able to make it if something doesn't change. It's hard. I've been sick over the weekend with some bug and it was so hard having to keep Graysen while I was sick.

I hope to get another job this week. Hoping and praying.

Thinking back..... 3 yrs ago!!

Three years ago at this time I was pregnant with Graysen and had just moved back to Oklahoma. I was just entering my second trimester. I was living with my friend Ashley, who was also pregnant. It was cool to be pregnant at the same time. She had her baby on July 17th and I was there to watch it all. It really scared me to death to think that would be happening to my body within a few months. It was so bizarre to see the baby's head going in and out of her body. It was an emotional experience and I am so happy she let me be a part of it. I'm going to try and show a picture of me pregnant. We'll see if it works.

It put the pic at the top. Dang it! Oh well. I was actually 30 wks in that pic. I had just gotten a haircut. I loved that haircut.

Next time I'll share my birth story. I have to run and chase Graysen now.

Bad Luck...

Well.. I have been having the WORST luck!!! On Thursday, the 12th, I fell in the mud at a clients house and hurt my wrist and my left knee. I am off work till the 16th, but my car is in the shop. The ignition something is out and has to be replaced and they are also going to be fixing the A/C.

The rest of the things going on in my life aren't much more exciting. I'm sitting around here just letting Graysen play. Poor guy should be outside playing, but instead he's locked inside today.

We Moved!!!

Finally we have moved out of my mothers house and into our own home. I am so excited. Graysen is loving having our own home. I love to decorate and clean. Can you believe it?!?!??! I will post pics as I get some. I am going to start this blog from this day to chronicle our lives and that way I can look back and see how far I have come. Can you believe it took me 30 yrs to get out of my mothers house?!?!?!

I am trying to get enrolled in school, but having a hard time finding time to go and do it. I will make time next week. I have to... I need to go... I am very interested in doing something in the crime solving type of area. I don't want to be a cop. I would love to be an investigater. The thing with that is I think you have to be a cop first... Not happening. Not with me being a hippo. ;)

I've been reading a lot lately about a murder that happened in 1977, the year I was born. It's the Girl Scout Murders in Locust Grove, OK. Three young girls were brutely raped and murdered in a camp for girl scouts that would last 1-2 weeks. The girls were killed in June and it was a stormy night. The first night there. They thought they had their man and he was arrested and tried for the crime, but was acquited. Some say he did it and some say he didn't. I read all I can so I can try to figure out who could have done it. I LOVE to do this. Does that make me a freak? Some think so... (Andrea, mom, Wilma)....

I will add more pictures so you can check out my BEAUTIFUL boy!! Graysen was born January 25, 2005 and weighed in at 7lbs 3oz and 20.5 inches long. Labor was 34 hrs. Horrible labor too, btw... But he's perfect. He is my only child . So yes, I am VERY proud to show him off.
